Following on from previous ideas surrounding Brutalist architecture in Flotation, this weave explores how shape and form can be created in negative space, showing the importance of every area in an image and a concept.
It's important to understand every area of an image, concept or environment. Padded squares nod to this idea, showing the plain ground as a 3D area as well as a coloured pattern that reflect the interactive zones in Brutalist community spaces such as windows and doors.
Every space is important, even the things that cannot be seen such as an energy in a place.
